    Courthouse Libraries BC
    Not-for-profit site of information on BC law, court rules and recent cases, including a database of recent BC Provincial Court Judgments. The New Westminster Courthouse Library is the closest branch.

    Dial-a-Law
    Get basic information on many subjects like marriage, divorce and child support from  Canadian Bar Association, which also provides inexpensive introductory legal advice through its Lawyer Referral program.

    Duhaime's Legal Information
    Vancouver law firm provides public information on many legal issues, plus a dictionary of legal terms.

    Select from a wide list of publications.

    The Legal Services Society provides several topic areas for low-income needs. Visit the Electronic Law Library for more detailed legal research needs. 

    People's Law School 
    The current Public Legal Education and Information Resource Catalog lists plain language information  brochures about many areas of BC law, including child support, power of attorney, representation agreements, volunteering, etc. Some of these publications in the catalog are also available online; the Catalog provides web addresses for others. 

    UBC Law Student's Legal Advice Program Manual
    2007 edition of the LSLAP Manual of public legal information coveris subjects from automobile insurance, creditor/debtor remedies, family law and child support, immigration and human rights law, the Young Offenders Act, etc.
